Application Authenticity

Always download NellsPay applications from official sources such as the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. This ensures the integrity of the app and protects your data and transactions from unauthorized access or tampering.

Passwords, PINs, and OTPs

  • User accounts must be secured with passwords containing a minimum of 8 and up to 256 alphanumeric and special characters.
  • All credentials are encrypted using a 256-bit hash key.
  • One-Time Passwords (OTPs) are sent to your registered contact details to provide an additional layer of end-to-end security.

User Verification

As part of our onboarding process, NellsPay requires government-issued identification. This information is independently verified against official government and industry databases. Users provide consent for this process during registration. (Refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.)

Data Protection

All metadata and personal information collected through our platforms are secured in accordance with industry best practices. This includes transaction history, login credentials, and personal data. Fraud Awareness

  • Urgency Tactics: Fraudsters often pressure users to act quickly. NellsPay will never rush you into making a transaction.
  • Panic Scenarios: Scammers may create false emergencies to manipulate users. Our support team will only contact you directly if suspicious activity is detected on your account.
  • Suspicious Links & Attachments: NellsPay only sends authorized transactional and informational emails. These are digitally signed and verifiable.
  • Credential Requests: NellsPay will never ask for your OTPs, PINs, or passwords. If you receive such a request, report it immediately to our support team.

Securing Your Activities

UK-Based Users:

  • Only authorize bank access through our official open banking partner, Salt Edge.
  • SaltEdge is used solely to fund your GBP and EUR wallet. Only you can initiate and approve transactions.
  • NellsPay will never request access to your bank accounts or ask you to install third-party software.
  • If you suspect a data breach, contact us at support@nellspay.com.

Canada-Based Users:

  • Wallet funding is available exclusively via the Interac platform using your linked email.
  • Send transaction references to deposit@nellspay.com for faster processing.
  • Change credentials immediately if you suspect unauthorized access and report to support@nellspay.com.
